These are instructions on how to root the Huawei Ascend Y300-0100 (running on android 4.1) using the Root Genius Application on Windows Computer.

Requirements: Your Device should have at least 20-30 percent of battery to perform the rooting process.

  1. Enable USB Debugging on your Smartphone. To enable USB debugging, Open Settings > Developer Options > USB Debugging > Tick to Enable.

    2. (Developer Options are hidden for Android 4.2.2 and above. Go to Settings > About Phone > Built Number > Tap on it 5-8 times to display this option).
