CheckX Tool is a lightweight production-testing utility developed by Unisoc (formerly Spreadtrum) to verify software and hardware information on Unisoc platform devices during manufacturing.
Features of the CheckX Tool
CheckX Tool simplifies post-calibration verification on the production line. It quickly checks critical device parameters and ensures quality before shipping.
IMEI, BT, WiFi & SN Verification
CheckX verifies IMEI (1/2/3), Bluetooth address, WiFi MAC address, and Serial Number against expected values or prefix rules. It supports scanning gun input for fast operation.
Phase Check & Station Verification
It checks PhaseCheck station flags (Download, WriteSN, CFT, BBAT, etc.) to confirm all previous production stages were completed successfully.
Calibration & Security Flag Check
CheckX inspects GSM/WCDMA/TD/LTE/ADC calibration flags, Secure Boot status, SIM Lock, IFAA, SOTER, Attestation Keybox, and other security deployment markers.
Version & Hardware Information
It reads and verifies AP/Modem software versions, memory size, SIM ICCID (in BBAT mode), and supports custom MMI flag checks for the whole phone, PCBA, and BBAT.
Voltage & Current Testing
With a programmable power supply, CheckX measures AUX/FGU voltages and Power On / Charge / DeepSleep / Power Off currents with configurable SPEC limits.

Notes
- Professional Tool: CheckX requires the device to be in Calibration Mode (0x81 / 0x8E). It works best with a USB connection and an optional programmable power supply for voltage/current tests.
- Customization: Edit CheckX.ini to adjust SN length, loop counts, scanner support, timeout, and station name. Use PhaseCheck.ini to define custom stations.
- Related Tools: Works alongside Factory Download, CFT, and Simba tools in the Unisoc production flow.
- Credits: CheckX Tool is developed and distributed by UniSoc Technologies Co., Ltd. Full credit goes to them for this essential NPI testing solution.
