Stock firmware refers to the original operating system (OS) pre-installed on a mobile device when it leaves the factory. It’s a tailored version of the OS, customized by the manufacturer to incorporate its unique user interface (UI), proprietary features, and pre-installed applications.
How to Install .mbf Firmware Using Quanta Tool for BOI
Before installing/flashing .mbf firmware using the Quanta Tool, please make sure to install the necessary drivers and tools.
Prerequisites
- Charge your device to at least 40-50%.
- A working Windows PC/Laptop and a DL Cable (Eg: Cable Types).
- Take a complete Backup of your Device.
- Download and install Quanta Tool for BOI.
- Stock Firmware of the device.

Steps to install .mbf Firmware using Quanta Tool for BOI
- Launch the Quanta Tool from the Start menu.
- Once the Quanta Tool is launched, Click the Browse button under Main Core.
- Locate the main Core .mbf file.
- Click the Browse button under Mapping.
- Locate the Mapping .mbf file.
- Click the Browse button under Language Pack.
- Locate the Language Pack .mbf file.
- Once the Press Power is displayed under the listed port, Long press the Mobile Power Key and connect it to your computer using the DL cable.
- Once the computer detects the device, you can check the USB Connected message on the tool.
- At this point, flashing will start automatically. Once the Flashing process is completed, Click on the Reset button.
Congratulations! You have successfully flashed the stock firmware. Close the Quanta Tool, disconnect the DL cable from the mobile, and restart it.
Notes
- Initial Boot Process: Following the flashing procedure, your device will undergo an initial boot process, which may take 10 seconds to 1 minute. Once completed, you will be prompted to choose the device language and other details, similar to setting up a new device.
- Caution: Back up your data before using the Quanta Tool for BOI. Your data will be permanently removed during the flashing/installation process.
