These are instructions on how to extract the contents of any IMG file using the MTK Extractor Tool on a Windows Computer.

A system.img file is different from a standard zip file. Therefore, you cannot use 7zip or any other zip program to extract it. However, by using the MTK Extractor developed by Mr Le Hau (senior developer), you can easily extract the contents of any system.img file. Furthermore, it can read and unpack the contents of the system.img file, giving you access to individual files (such as system, boot, modem, etc.).
